Rick Steins famous Seafood Restaurant which has just had a re-fit featuring a new sushi bar is just a six minute walk from Cally Croft along with his other restaurants, The Middle Street Café and St Petroc’s Bistro both also offering excellent choices of quality food and prices. Custard an English Diner is also hot on the Menu! serving traditional English fish and meat dishes which include local delicious beef. Great value, interesting food and puddings with the wow factor! The Shipwrights overlooks the harbour on the North Quay also has outside seating or try The Old Ship Hotel, The Harbour Inn or the Golden Lion all serve food offering a wide choice of meat and fish dishes.
There are several pasty shops around the Harbour together with good old Fish & Chips. Rick Stein takeaway Fish & Chips are delicious with huge choice of fresh fish available cooked to your liking. Also Chip Ahoy in the centre of the town serves good fish and chips with a range of fish available.
For a relaxing glass of wine before you eat or simply watch the world go by try Bin 2 just by The Basement Café over looking the Harbour with outside seating. Excellent choices of wine with expert knowledge from David the owner. Bin 2 also serves local lovely wine from The Camel Valley Vineyard.
